Who we are

HK Idea Online is a mobile app development company specializing in iPhone app development, eBook publishion, data analytics and integration of systems. We have designed a lot of app and application over the years, and have developed an internal software methodology that rivals the best. It's not rocket science, just discipline and planning.

We have overhauled our internal systems several times over the years, always with the goal of improving the end product; reducing defects, shortening integration times, and improving long-term reliability. We are pretty proud of them and will be happy to go on in long and boring detail on how it all works; how it improves reliability and saves our clients money, any time you want.

Recently, we believe that the iPad is already a tasty product among gadget lovers, but we believe that restaurant in Hong Kong are welcome to replace their printed menus with Apple's new touch screen device. We introduced a custom-made iPad application which allows customers to browse the virtual pages of the menu with a sweep of their finger.

Most of the restaurant have something that presents really well, sells their food really well and is absolutely dynamic.
The iPad menu would eventually make it possible to order food based on the weather or even match dishes to a person's mood.
The idea may be only the latest gimmick in a trade which is driven by consumer appetites and where fads help. But at least for now, it appears to be boosting business.

The eMenu can be installed in sushi bars, pubs and family restaurants. The system is based on touch-screens already used in self-service canteens or for ticketing. It is about impulse-buying, If a person starts looking at pictures of chocolate cake, the chances are he will order it.
